Stand Still, a two-person exhibition bringing together the work of Abraham Kritzman and Eyal Sasson

We are pleased to announce Stand Still, a two-person exhibition bringing together the work of Abraham Kritzman and Eyal Sasson.

Private view Thursday 4 May 6 – 9pm
Exhibition on view until Saturday 3 June 2017
Location: Danielle Arnaud, 123 Kennington Road, London SE11 6SF UK

Eyal Sasson and Abraham Kritzman both use long walking voyages as point of departure for their practices. Sasson and Kritzman’s walks are means for encounters, with nature as well as with culture. Rather than the traditional model of immobile painting through observation, they gather their experiences in motion. Kritzman will exhibit monochrome pencil drawings, diluted oil paintings, woodcut prints and plaster sculptures. Sasson will exhibit, for the first time, 3D versions of his paintings, in the form of blown-up pop-ups made of paper cutouts. The joint display of these works will offer two parallel formal painterly axes, which follow different levels of saturation, perspectives and trajectories.
